Somehow, our sweet Primrose has already grown to six weeks old and she is just blossoming. She’s playful, curious, cuddly, and developing the sweetest little personality.

Watching her grow has been such a beautiful chapter in our story and we have lots more fun experiences and learning activities planned for these final weeks before she joins her amazing forever family.

Primrose continues to remind us that even the smallest blooms can bring an extraordinary amount of beauty into our lives.

Every beautiful story has a beginning… and this one began with a tiny, perfect bloom… Primrose. 🌸

Maisie’s “Story in Bloom” opened with both the joy of new life and the heartbreak of loss. While we celebrated the birth of Primrose, we mourned the loss of her precious little sister, Poppy, who was born sleeping. One little bloom here to continue their story, and one forever remembered in our hearts. 💗

We chose their names with great intention. Primrose, one of the first flowers to bloom each spring, symbolizes new beginnings, hope, and the promise of brighter days. It felt like the perfect name for the little girl whose story would continue to unfold before our eyes. Poppy is a flower long associated with remembrance, peace, and everlasting love. Though her time with us was far too brief, her tiny life has left an imprint on our hearts that will never fade. Together, their names beautifully tell the story of this litter—a story of hope intertwined with remembrance, where love continues to bloom even in the midst of loss.

Time has not stood still, and sweet little Primrose is blossoming right before our eyes. At almost 4 weeks old, her personality is beginning to peek through as she discovers the world around her one tiny adventure at a time. She’s becoming more curious and more confident each day. Every new sound, toy, and wobbly step is another page in her sweet little story.

The best stories aren’t always the biggest ones—sometimes they’re told through one extraordinary little life. We can’t wait to watch Primrose continue to bloom in the weeks ahead and watch her story unfold.

Teaching commands like sit, stay, and recall are obvious... but most dog owners completely forget about or just don’t know the importance of teaching their puppy to be calm.

If your puppy always needs attention, they’ll never learn to relax alone.

So how can we teach them calm? ⬇️

SIT ON THE DOG
This is an easy training exercise which obviously doesn’t require you to actually “sit on your dog”-but I bet you’ll remember the name!😉
1️⃣Leash your puppy.
2️⃣Grab some reading material and get comfortable.
3️⃣Sit on the leash (not the dog).
4️⃣Wait for your dog to settle & then start the timer for 10min.

✅The goal is to get your puppy to lie at your feet, relaxed with no entertainment and with little tension on the leash. For 10 straight minutes. If they get distracted and get up, start over.

✅Increase the length of time each time you practice by 5min until your dog can complete 20min.

✅Once your dog is consistently completing this exercise inside at home, you can take it outside to the yard or driveway, then on to public spaces.

Teaching your puppy to be calm is the foundation for impulse control and good dog behavior and creates a confident, independent dog who doesn’t panic when left alone and behaves well out in public.

Second star to the right... and somehow our little Neverland adventurers are already 6 weeks old! 💫

The days are flying by and the past two weeks have been full of exciting milestones! The puppies are becoming more adventurous, building confidence with new sights, sounds, textures and experiences through our enrichment program.
They’re enjoying plenty of playtime with their littermates, sharpening their social skills, and they’re doing phenomenal with potty training. Watching them learn, grow & experience new things is one of my favorite things!

All of our little Neverland crew have found their forever adventures. Our fall waitlist is now open.

Second star to the right… and straight on to 4 weeks old! 💫

Peter, Wendy, Tink, Smee, and Hook are growing faster than a little pixie can sprinkle fairy dust, and this magical stage is always one of my favorites!

In just the past two weeks, these little Lost Boys (and girls 😉) have opened their eyes and ears to the world around them, discovered that those wobbly little legs actually work, and have officially entered the “wrestle everyone in sight” stage of puppyhood. Their personalities are beginning to shine, and each one is becoming more adventurous, curious, affectionate, and playful every single day.

This week also marks some exciting milestones!

🧸 They’re well into our exposure and handling curriculum, where they’re experiencing new sights, sounds, textures, and gentle challenges designed to build confidence.
🥣 They’re beginning to explore “big kid” food while still enjoying time with Mama Mona.
🚽 Potty training has officially begun, and they’re already learning that they prefer a clean place to sleep.

Watching these babies discover the world is pure magic. Every new sound, toy, and adventure is another page in their Neverland story, helping prepare them for the day they fly off to their very own forever families.
