4 Weeks – Maple’s “Breakfast Club” Cavapoos

This may just be my favorite stage of puppyhood. There’s something so special about watching these little babies wake up to the world around them.

Over the past couple of weeks, their eyes and ears have opened, and it’s been pure magic watching them recognize human faces and hear new sounds for the very first time. They’re figuring out how those tiny feet and wobbly legs work, taking their sweet first steps as they toddle from one breakfast adventure to the next. And then come those precious first little woofs—tiny voices that somehow manage to completely melt my heart every single time. 🥹

Honestly, watching Pancake, Waffle, Egg, Bacon, Pop Tart, and Cinnamon Roll grow and discover the world is sweeter than a stack of syrup-soaked pancakes on a Saturday morning.

Ok, ok, I admit that was a little cheesy. 😂
I’m just completely smitten with this adorable little Breakfast Club. If you need me, I’ll just be over here in a puddle on the floor. 🫠🥰

6 Weeks
Looks like I’m a little late ringing the bell for the “Last Call” Cavapoo gentlemen’s 6-week photos… but thankfully, this establishment is still serving up plenty of adorable!

The countdown is officially on, and time is moving way too fast. In just a week and a half, these handsome fellas will be closing out their tab here and heading off to begin their forever adventures with their new families. 🥹

The last couple of weeks have been filled with big milestones and even bigger personalities. Confidence is pouring in, curiosity is on tap, and these boys are eagerly exploring every new experience that comes their way. Their curriculum is in full swing, and they continue to impress us daily with how quickly they learn and grow.

And, believe it or not, last call hasn’t been called just yet for Whiskey, Rye, and Scotch! These charming gentlemen are still waiting for their forever love stories to begin.

Second star to the right and straight on till morning...

The last of our summer babies have arrived and we are delighted to introduce Mona & Gus’s magical Cavapoo crew: the “Tails from Neverland.” (See what we did there?? 😉)

Much like the beloved characters who inspired their names, these five little adventurers are sure to capture you heart and spark your imagination. Filled with wonder, mischief, courage, and charm, they’re ready to take us on a journey to a place where growing up is optional and cuddles are endless.

🌶️ 6 Weeks 🌶️

Piper’s Pepper Patch Cavapoos are 6 weeks old, and these little peppers have just the right blend of sweet and spice! If you’re not completely smitten by them at this point, I’m not sure we can be friends. 😉❤️

Watching this litter grow has been an absolute joy. Every puppy is full of personality and charm and is developing into the most wonderful little companion-in-training. They’re affectionate, confident, curious, playful, and incredibly smart—proof that the Pepper Patch is producing some truly exceptional peppers this season!

Let’s talk about the boy vs girl myth when it comes to dogs.

It’s not uncommon for 7 out of 10 people I speak with to want a female puppy only. There are a variety of reasons, some wonderful and well thought out, but many are based on misconceptions of how male vs female dogs behave and function.

Here are some fun truths from my experience
💙“Boys hump.” Yep, and so do girls - in fact, my
girls actually hump more than the boys do.

💙“Boys lift their leg and mark.” Typically, only if they’re intact! Once fixed, that behavior usually disappears.
AND girls mark too, they just don’t lift their leg when doing it!

💙“Boys are stinkier.” Nope — they all smell the
same with proper grooming.

💗“Girl dogs are easier to dress up.” Maybe for a quick photo, but mine aren’t big fans of playing dress up! And honestly, boys have adorable accessories too.

💗“Girls are cleaner or calmer.” Not necessarily!
Every pup has its own quirks and energy level.

So, which gender is “better?”
Honestly— there’s no right answer. Every dog has its own unique personality, and that’s what you should choose based on, not gender.
