I recently brought back tooth brushes, combs and brushes back to the store and I have been repeatedly asked why I don’t carry tooth paste.

If you have ever read the label of dog toothpaste it’s never a short list of ingredients. The one I pulled up had corn, brown rice oil, stevia, guar gum, cyamopsis tetragonolba, maltodextrin, over 30 ingredients.

My problem with this is, why do we need all of these ingredients and if you research what these ingredients are and side effects why do I want to brush my dogs teeth with this.

I recommend 1 simple ingredient! organic coconut oil. If you do essential oils you can add 1 drop of peppermint, clove or thieves oil. If you want to add a pinch of baking soda to the mixture you may add that as well. Only use good essential oils like Young living.

Mix a small amount of the coconut oil to soften and apply to tooth brush.
