Jager has recently graduated from a Therapy Dog course to be a comfort animal in nursing homes and hospitals. Unfortunately, over the past week, he has stopped eating and has become lethargic and distant. He can no longer walk up stairs or get up on his own. The diagnosis is Addison’s or Cancer.

The vet bills have gone over $1,500 at the moment and we still need more. In order to perform the surgery needed to save him, we’re looking at another vet bill of $2,500.

Time is a factor and I appreciate every dime. If you are unable to donate, I understand, but I always appreciate this being forwarded to more people.

Thank you for helping him get back to helping others,

Michael Jordan

Hello Everyone

It has come to my attention that there 4 families in my schools that are having a very difficult time financially. Times are so rough for these families that one school has actually started a small “food bank” to have things to send home for the children on the weekends.

Easter is coming. I would like to send Easter baskets home for the children in these families. I was wondering if any of the members of Gold Star would like to contribute to this project. I have the information on the children in 3 of the families.

I am waiting for the information on the 4th. I have been sent the information about the ages and sexes of the elementary age children, and I have requested that they check if there are any High School age children as well.

Here is what I have so far…..

Girls —2 girls age 6; 2 girls age 7 and 1 girl age 9.

Boys—-One boy age 6; one boy age 8 and one boy age 13.

If anyone from Gold Star would like to contribute, they can send a check payable to me at: Lydia Wochna, 1585 King Road, Hinckley, Oh 44233.( If I get more money than I think is needed for Candy and baskets, I will turn the rest into groceries for the families).

If they would rather give something to go into the baskets, my Phone number is 216-389-5098. I can connect with them to pick the items up.

Thanks,

Lydia
