We founded the Penn-Ohio Newfoundland Club in 1980, Chaired the 1990 National Specialty here in Ohio and are on the Newfoundland Club of Americas Coveted Breeders List as well as an AKC Breeder of Merit. We are a family dedicated to breeding beautiful, healthy, athletic, sweet Newfoundland dogs.

Well Flash & Smokey’s puppies born 4/18/26 and Sassy & Jack’s puppies born 4/20/26 will be examined this weekend by the vet. If you have been waiting for a puppy from us now is the time to contact us as they are almost ready to go into homes. I know some of you have been waiting a long time and this is not usually how we announce litters however, end of March I had a fall broke my leg in three places, and my hip was in the hospital for almost 2 months so everything is moving in slow motion while I was in the hospital my son delivered the litters and took care of the puppies. I will try to get some current pictures up soon, but since I’m the picture taker, it’s going to be tough. Keep checking the site.

“Teddy” Watchbears Theodore Roosevelt is ready to retire. Teddy is sweet, snuggly ( a velcro dog) but not demanding. He casually walks over and leans up against you and then sits and waits for pats. If they are not forthcoming he give a little woof. He turns in circles at dinner time, indicating how much he enjoys your dinners. Never a complaint. He is ready to join the right family, at 8 years old he is healthy and active but not overly active. He has OFA certified hips, elbows and heart and is ready to be a companion to your family. Call me to make an appointment to meet him.
