The temperatures are rising and it's going to be in the 90's this week, please leave your pets at home. I have seen so many dogs in parked cars with only the windows halfway down or windows up and the car running. If your car stops running for any reason they will over heat. Please leave water out for the strays and or feral cats. I was reading online yesterday that 29 children under the age of 5 years old in the United States have passed away from being left in the car or pickup,in just 2 months.

I need to make this post for my team that works hard to get everyone scheduled in a timely manner, also my team intakes 38 to 42 pets 4 days a week from 8am to 10am. When calls come in at that time they are trying to get your pets checked in. We have owners trying to get to work and we can't ask them to wait. During the day as your pet is getting surgery there are things that are happening, like medicine to go home or phone calls are being made because your pet has an ear issue, skin issue . Your pets are getting released between 2pm and 5pm. We have 2 phone lines, 2 emails that also has to be checked. We offer online scheduling for everyone who wants to use .
I have a wonderful team that cares about your family pets and wants the best for them while in our care. The admin position is alot and they are rock stars.

Unfortunately the company we order our injectable sedative/ anesthesia drug from could not ship the bottles due to weather.
They didn't email us Monday to let us know it wouldn't be shipped. Our anesthesia machine is good ,but your pet gets a presugical injection and thats the medication we are waiting on. We should only be down tomorrow. Friday is wellness and we will be open 9am to 3pm. These are unfortunate things that are out of our hands due to the extreme cold.
We apologize for the inconvenience for tomorrow.

I wanted to inform everyone about price changes. After looking at our history since 2019 ,we haven't raised prices since 2022.
Cats are 55.00 and 75.00
Ferals are remaining 40.00
Dogs are by weight and they are 10.00 more.
Wellness is 35.00
Vaccinations remaining the same for now.
Our new flyer will be out soon.
Website will be updated this week.
We try to keep everything we do affordable for the public and rescues. Medication and supplies continue to rise and we have to cover our costs.

I haven't had to make a post like this before but it's happening more than usual. If you don't fill out the surgery form through the portal and you have a friend or family member bring your pet in the morning of surgery ,and they authorize treatment for ear mite treatment or antibiotics or something found during the presurgical exam, you are responsible for paying for treatment.
We get all treatments and prescriptions ready at time of surgery this is why we ask in the morning because owners are not always available. So please let the person know not to mark yes for treatment and we can ask at time of pickup if you want treatment. Thank you for understanding.
