Happy tears for Todd and his owners today🥹

Todd was adopted by his owners where he came from a homeless shelter. For 2 years his owners thought he was struggling with severe human reactivity. He was uncontrollable on leash, had no engagement, no commands, etc. He has a very rocky past and his owners didn’t know how to gain control to handle him and have proper communication with him to make it easier for Todd. Anybody would get frustrated with an uncontrollable dog, now him and his dad can have a better relationship. Today he is following his dad’s lead engaged and under control and his mom is FINALLY able to physically handle him. So proud of this little family

Reliability and Pizza Crust

Being able to rely on your dog and the training you have done is one of the most important parts of dog training. It gives you trust, communication, control and earned freedom for them. Some are skeptical about off leash training, personally I am a big fan. Our dogs don’t deserve to be tied to our hips in places that are safe for them to be out and about with the full control from us. Earned freedom, showing the dog the life they are able to have if we can communicate properly, act safe, obedient and controlled around the outside world.

Building that relationship and reliability with your dog makes it easier to trust them in different situations, having predictable and trained behaviors. Laying down or recalling when a person passes on trail, sitting and waiting for you to pick up their p**p, sitting when greeting a new person, emergency downs or recalls, all behaviors you can form, train and rely on your dog to do.

Dogs are not and will never be perfect. We do not own robots, we own domesticated animals who we try our best to live our day to day with in a fulfilling way for them.

Working that big girl brain 🦋

Shirley girl is getting more advanced! Longer, out of sight down stays, working while off leash, etc. She is accomplishing so much consistently with her mom. We are including more fun “use your big girl brain” things since impulse control has always been a hard thing she struggles with. Getting her neutral with people and dogs took lots of time and consistency but here she is! Still a little work to do with the dog part but miss girl is a neutral queen! So proud of my shirley girl!

What is this program? 👩🏽‍💻
A 2, 3 or 4 week board and train like program where we train your dog daily while you are at work, out and about or in the comfort of your own home. Your dog gets a tailored hour of training time, enrichment, field trips, care and love all to become a well behaved pup! You are given video progress via social media where you can watch your puppy train in real time! 2 weeks is recommended for puppies, basic obedience, leash walking, manners, etc. 3 weeks is recommended for minor reactivity, unwanted behaviors, etc. 4 weeks is recommended for behavior modification, off leash, more serious reactivity. You are paying less than private lessons per day and getting more sessions in for results.
