So today we said goodbye to the last Desilu Bunny, Peyton! We are officially closed for Bunny business! Again, I can not stress the fact that we are so thankful to our customers and friends. It’s truly been a great run, now onto a new chapter!

As I wash all the bowls and gather the Rabbitry stuff I can’t help but to reminisce of the 8 almost 9 years Desilu has been around. What a great experience for me, finding a hobby that brought so much happiness, showing, breeding and meeting a lot of great friends along the way. I can’t help but be thankful for this run. Thank you to all my customers and friends that have been apart of Desilu.

Tear jerker moment, I want to give a major shout out to my eldest son Ricky Pavlik. Ricky came back to Maryland to help his dad and I get the house prepared to go on the market. He went above and beyond, just like he did when he was a kid. He powered wash the house, patio and sidewalks and the deck, he helped put our fence back up, he laid all our mulch down, helped with the final closing of the Rabbitry and most importantly got to spend possibly the last time in the home he was raised on all his life. We certainly could not have done all that he did for us this week in one week. As I travel up to DC to send him back to Florida 26 years of him and the boys run through my head of our home we built together, very emotional right now. Ricky, dad and I love you very much and appreciated all that you have done for us! Safe travels my dear! You are the sweetest!
