We’ve had about 30 seconds of cold weather and I’m already ready for spring flowers! Who else is ready?! 🌷🌷🌷 excited to launch our spring subscription sales on Small Business Saturday!

We do have an update to our subscriptions this year. Due to the growing popularity of our spring subscriptions, I am unable to offer individual deliveries outside of the Bishop’s Park neighborhood. In an effort to still provide excellent service I will be offering pickup locations at the following: The Local Cup on 301, West Creek building 6 for my C1 subscribers, and our home off of Pole Green road in Mechanicsville. I am also open to adding additional pickup locations round town if I have at least 5 subscribers in the area so spread the word to your friends and send me a message!

Subscriptions also make great holiday gifts! If purchasing as a gift, I will send you a printable gift note to give the recipient. 🎁

Busy over here flipping the farm from fall blooms to spring starts. Digging and dividing dahlias, starting our winter cover crop, presprouting anemones and ranunculus, amending soil, and planting tulip bulbs. When the growing is done the to do list piles up! But that means we are close to spring subscriptions!!!

Ok, this is a big deal! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 After expanding to the rented land last season it became evident fairly fast that I needed an easily accessible way to store a larger number of flowers back at the house after harvesting. Our home and now “test” garden is under an HOA so I can’t just throw a metal walk in cooler in the back. But, if there is a will there is a way. This 8x12’ shed meets my HOAs guidelines and I will be converting 8x8’ of it to a walk in before next spring so it’s ready to go come tulip season!🌷🌷🌷

For my fellow flower growers I’ll share the process on here so you can see how it’s done (and possibly some what not to dos 😆) so maybe you can come up with a creative way to add a walk in to your micro flower business!

This rain may be making the dahlia harvest a little slow at times but I’m getting them out the door, even if it’s two at a time! I had planned to start offering a dahlia subscription this year but, my farm got put on the back burner secondary to family during a difficult time this past spring. My spring subscribers (you know who you are 😉) are the best people I know. They were beyond forgiving and were given a few options for alternates to a final spring subscription. Most of them chose the fall dahlia bouquet option. So my dahlias this fall are reserved for them! Once all have been delivered I will post for open sales. I love connecting back with this group and what they may not realize is that they are helping me trial and test the dahlia subscription process that I aim to launch for fall 2025! Thanks again my subscribers and flower friends! Y’all are the best!

Also, for those who have asked or wondering, yes I will have spring subscriptions again and plan to launch sales for those spots around Black Friday/small businesses Saturday. Stay tuned! 🌺 🌼
