We would like to welcome you into the new year 2024. Ringing in the New Year is a cause for celebration, For spending time with friends and family and for offering happy New Year wishes.
Farming is in my blood, my great grand parents grew to***co all of their lives. From generations to generations farming has been pasted down.
Here at Aiken's Farm has been growing and selling delicious and nutritious vegetables well over 15 years. We steward our land using organic practice, we are not certified although in the near future. We use winter cover crops and summer green manure crops religiously to keep our soil happy and healthy. We sell all of our produce through multiple farmer markets, grocery stores, roadside stands, and CSA boxes.
Our CSA
Our farm allows us to start boxes in March 2024 we will be open for 2024 CSA registration on March 1st be sure to contact us. Which includes a wide variety of vegetables that are in season. Each season will include a different variety of vegetables for that time of year.
Are you asking yourself "What is a CSA?" CSA is Community, Supported, Agricultural. A CSA box is a weekly or monthly subscription to various locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables. "How does it work?", you ask yourself. CSA is a production and marketing model whereby customers buy shares of a farm's harvest in advance. Consumers become CSA members by paying an agreed amount at the beginning of the growing season, either in a lump sum or in installments. Once you become a member here at Aiken's Farm you will receive weekly shares of vegetables and fruits when in season. We can deliver boxes within a reasonable distance.
