Rosewood Farm Horseback Riding Lessons/Boarding/Training

Located in Mebane, NC (just off I-85) on 45 acres of rolling pastures with a pond, Rosewood Farm strives to create a well-balanced equestrian both on and off the horse by providing riding and non-riding learning opportunities. Lessons not only focus on riding technique, but also emphasize proper care for horses and equipment as well as safety on and off the horse. There are a number of school hors

es and ponies with varied personalities and habits to provide students with a well-rounded riding experience helping to challenge riders to improve their skills. Rosewood Farm offers weekly beginner through intermediate child (and adult) level huntseat riding private, semi-private and group lessons. During summer break, school age kids can take advantage of week-long summer camp sessions that allow them to spend more time around the horses and focus on a camp specific activity. Rosewood Farm sponsors a 4H club that meets regularly in the barn where the kids are exposed to different aspects of horses through field trips to various local equestrian events (i.e., the Grand Prix), other local shows and activities like visiting a miniature horse farm. The club also encourages members to be more aware of opportunities to give back to the community through service projects (like collecting used bedding & supplies for the local animal shelter and making holiday cards for people in nursing homes.)

Due to life circumstances Rosewood Farm will be unable to host our May 21 horse show. We hope to get back to our shows in September.

Sorry for the uncertainty but the forecast looks grim and we are just hoping for the best, for the arena, and the parking area. I got absolutely no pics from the show Saturday but wanted to thank all the exhibitors, trainers, riders and volunteers for a wonderful day. We beat the storm and saw over 100 trips in the day. Thank you all, fall dates coming soon!

Hey everyone, it's May already! That means that this coming SATURDAY MAY 7 is the next Rosewood Jumper Show in Mebane! Pre entries accepted. We will again have CONCESSIONS ON SITE! Great courses for beginners, green horses, or even for more experienced pairs prepping for something bigger. Please join us for a fun day in the sun this Saturday. Thanks to CWD Sellier, our main sponsor, giving amazing year end prizes through the years.

After much thought we are changing the date of our May Jumper Show from May 15 to SATURDAY May 7 to avoid running against War Horse, which we know many of our regulars will be attending. Hopefully we'll see you all then! 9am start!

What a great day for a show this past Sunday! So many returning faces and also many many new ones! We were very happy with the turnout, the horses and riders, and the efficiency of the entire day, so thank you ALL for that! This series would not exist without the help of the entire rosewood crew, setting and resetting jumps and cleaning up the grounds before and after, the expert judging from Deanna Lewis, amazing year end prizes from our sponsors, great help with concessions and the list goes on, but most of all, we couldn't do it without the horses and exhibitors actually showing up to play. We work hard to try and provide the best schooling show opportunity in the area and we love to see so many enjoying it!
We'll see ya'll MAY 15 for show 2 of 5 for the year.
Fall dates will be released at the May show (inside scoop, check the dates from last year, we're going for the same weekends).
