I breaks my heart to say a few weeks ago my Mally passed in her sleep. She was our first Malinois. I got her for Terry but, Mally said I was HER person. She was everything I could have ever dreamed up. She did everything I ever asked her to do. Mally was my first service dog. She took her job very seriously and did it well. Once she decided to be my protector, she washed from service work. As serious as she took her service work, nothing compared to how well she did her job to protect her Mom and her pack. We had a lot of training to do once that protector switch was flipped and we worked more days than not. She was always willing to work. Mally was an avid dock diver. Her favorite thing was doing air retrieve. She loved all the disc games and was very close to her first UpDog title. She loved NASDA trailing and locating! She participated in Barn Hunt, Hide n Seek (one of her runs was 1.4 seconds), scentwork, Fit dog, fast cat, and fetch dog. At this time I don’t know where this leaves our program. Right now I still find it hard to breath without her everyday. She was my partner, teammate, helper, protector, and friend. Rest well my love, my heart aches for you.
