We are a non profit 501 (c)(3) donkey and mule rescue and sanctuary located in McNeal Arizona. Thank you for visiting our page.

Family run, mama, daughters and 1 very dedicated volunteer, we help donkeys and mules from bad situation such as slaughterbound, abused and unwanted. Some have been abused mentally and physically, some just unwanted. we try to rehabilitate them and find them a forever home. some have been too traumatized, those stay here with and will have a forever home with us. We have around 17 elderly mules

and donkeys that require special care, those are also part of the sanctuary. We survive with donations and have been blessed by some very dedicated supporters who we so appreciate. if you would like to make a donation, please click on the donate button.

She has become so friendly and is so sweet. She leads well, ties and loves her brushing.
We are still working on feet but she is coming along. What a good girl❤️

Astrid has come such a long way. I have been able to walk up to her anywhere in the pen and scratch her on both sides. She now comes to me for treats, I am so thrilled. No halter yet but it's coming soon.
What a sweet girls she is❤️

Zoe has also made huge progress. She was much calmer than Astrid from the beginning. But I thought maybe she would hold a grudge after we took her deceased foal from her. She is so young that I am not even sure she understood what happened to her and her foal.
Well she didnt hold a grudge and became pretty friendly shortly after.
Next will be the halter.
She could also use a sponsor and/or treats.
Both her and Astrid will be up for adoption to the right home when ready.

Astrid has improved a lot. She was so so scared when she first arrived.
She still is but at least I can touch her now and she takes treats I throw on the ground in front of her. That's huge for her. I am super happy with her progress.
And I dont think she is in foal which is another good thing, considering the other 4 foals passed away at birth or shortly after.
Astrid could use a sponsor or treats :)
