This is Reeper. He was surrendered yesterday because his family is moving and can't take him. He is a 3 year old intact male.

Knows some commands such as, sit, stay and shake. Nice disposition.

We were told by the owner that loves cats, but not all dogs and can be protective around them. Unaware of how he is with chickens.

Meet our new shelter friend Wally 🐾

He is available for adoption through the City of McMinnville Animal Control. Thanks to a very generous donation, he'll be hanging out with us for the next month or so.

It took Wally several days to decompress and relax. He LOVES having a routine and knowing what to expect day to day. Wally is working on his leash manners, crate training, and just being a dog. All things he'll need to know when he finds a forever home!

We're glad to have ya, Wally!

Blink is still available for adoption through the City of McMinnville Animal Control! He is a young mixed breed who will need to be neutered prior to adoption. Check out those eyes! What a looker!

Blink rides well in the car and is social with people. He settled nicely in his kennel for a mid day nap and was less anxious during his visit with us today. Blink is very over stimulated around other dogs and will need help learning how to interact with others. He would benefit from regular exercise, socialization, and training to help him succeed outside of the shelter! If you're interested in helping Blink, reach out to City AC!

New kid on the block from City of McMinnville Animal Control! Ernie is some type of hound mix- that's our best guess anyway! He is roughly a year old and has the cutest curly tail. He will need to be neutered prior to adoption.

Ernie was an all-around good boy today! He's social with people and dogs. Ernie is food motivated and ready to learn. He is a barker (typical hound) and would benefit from regular exercise, socialization, and training. If you're looking for a happy go lucky partner, Ernie is your guy. Check him out at City AC!

Xena is the longest resident at the City of McMinnville Animal Control. She has been with her foster placement for almost two years. Xena is an all-American mixed breed. She is spayed, vaccinated, and her adoption fee is sponsored.

Xena is an active girl! She loves hiking, playing in the creek, car rides, and using her brain. She is very smart and willing to work. Xena knows some basic obedience cues and is crate trained.

What's the hold up?!? Xena struggles with reactivity. She has big emotions around certain situations and triggers. She will need to be the only pet in the home and will require a dedicated owner to set her up for success.

Blue is available for adoption through the City of McMinnville Animal Control. He was surrendered earlier this year. He is a young, working breed mix and is already neutered. Today was his second visit with us!

Blue is smart and independent. He has energy to burn and will need a dog savy handler to help him succeed. He is not a couch potato. Blue rode well in the car and settled nicely in his kennel for a mid day nap. He is social with other dogs. If you're interested in helping Blue, reach out to City AC!

Titan is available for adoption at City of McMinnville Animal Control! He was picked up as a stray earlier this year. We assume he's a middle-aged pitbull terrier mix. Today was his second visit with us!

Titan is a rambunctious fellow! He's loud, bouncy, and goofy. Titan was aloof to other dogs and was happy to interact with every person he met. He would thrive with regular exercise and some basic training to set him up for success. If you're interested in doing life with this happy guy, please reach out to City AC!
