Meet our new shelter friend Wally 🐾

He is available for adoption through the City of McMinnville Animal Control. Thanks to a very generous donation, he'll be hanging out with us for the next month or so.

It took Wally several days to decompress and relax. He LOVES having a routine and knowing what to expect day to day. Wally is working on his leash manners, crate training, and just being a dog. All things he'll need to know when he finds a forever home!

❤️ Blink ❤️
Blink is still available for adoption through the City of McMinnville Animal Control! He is a young mixed breed who will need to be neutered prior to adoption. Check out those eyes! What a looker!

Blink rides well in the car and is social with people. He settled nicely in his kennel for a mid day nap and was less anxious during his visit with us today. Blink is very over stimulated around other dogs and will need help learning how to interact with others. He would benefit from regular exercise, socialization, and training to help him succeed outside of the shelter! If you're interested in helping Blink, reach out to City AC!

❤️ Bolt ❤️
New kid on the block from the City of McMinnville Animal Control! Bolt was picked up as a stray. We're assuming he is some type of German Shepherd mix. Bolts puppy days are behind him, but he has plenty of miles before he reaches his senior years. He will need to be neutered prior to adoption.

Bolt has a big motor! A typical Shepherd- Independent, smart and ready to work. Bolt is social with people he knows, but can be stand-offish to strangers. He showed some pretty decent toy drive today and loves to use his nose. He wasn't a candidate for introductions with other dogs, but with some training and socialization, that could change. Mark those calenders for August 25th 🐾

We'll be meeting here at 5 Acre Farm for a pack walk! There will be opportunities to practice neutrality around friends, swim, and have off leash play... all while getting our steps in! Due to the nature of this session, we are unable to accommodate reactive dogs at this walk. (Dont worry! We'll schedule a more structured session for all of our friends soon.)

$5 per dog. Please message/text to reserve your spot!

Our sweet friend Charlie is still looking for a home. She is a 4 year old mixed breed. She is spayed and vaccinated. Charlie has been boarding with us for the past year due to a death in the family. She is a loving companion who enjoys spending time with her people. Charlie is active, goofy, and eager to please.

Charlie requires slow structured introductions with other dogs. She can exist in a multi dog home under the right conditions, but at the end of the day, she enjoys being an only child. Charlie struggles with mild reactivity in different situations and would thrive with a dog savy handler who is interested in helping her succeed.

She walks well on a leash, is crated trained, and has picked up a few basic obedience cues while hanging out with us. If you're interested in meeting Charlie, let us know!
