Working with Aurora Avail on her in-hand trot today. At one point, she decided she had a different direction in mind, and that’s exactly why we practice. 🖤

Avail is learning to confidently move forward with me, and I’m learning how to guide her. One day we’ll move as one, but every partnership starts with trust, communication, and consistency on the ground.

The little moments are building something bigger. 🐴✨

Lady Lorelei, by Lolke 371, and I are giving inspection practice our very first try. Wearing the traditional inspection halter and learning the trot-up together, one step at a time.

The Friesian horse is one of Europe’s oldest horse breeds, with roots tracing back to the Middle Ages in the Netherlands. Historians believe Friesian-type horses were valued as war horses because of their strength, agility, and ability to carry armored knights into battle. Today, they remain symbols of courage, power, and loyalty and when I ride Lorelei, I feel her bravery!

Today, we honor the bravery and sacrifice of those who protected our freedoms. ❤️🤍💙

We remember with gratitude.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

This Memorial Day, the Friesian horse community stands in gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy because of their sacrifice. We also remember the loyal horses and service animals who served beside them throughout history.
