Do Pets Do Better with Friends?
Absolutely! Just like people, many pets thrive with social interaction. Whether it’s a playmate at daycare or a buddy at home, having a friend can improve your pet’s behavior, mood, and overall well-being.
🐶 For Dogs:
Socialization = Confidence. Regular, safe interaction with other dogs helps build social skills and reduces anxiety or reactivity.
Exercise + Play. Dogs are natural pack animals and often play harder and longer with friends, leading to better physical and mental health.
Less Boredom, Less Trouble. Dogs with friends tend to be less destructive at home because they’re mentally and physically stimulated.
🐱 For Cats:
Some cats enjoy companionship—especially littermates or bonded pairs. While many cats are independent, the right match can provide comfort and reduce loneliness.
At Capitol Canine, We Encourage Healthy Friendships
Whether your pup joins our daycare, training classes, or boarding program, they’ll get the chance to meet other friendly, well-behaved dogs in a supervised environment. This helps them grow into calmer, more adaptable companions at home and in public.
