Blue Dog K-9 is a professional dog training company founded by Police Service Dog "Blue" and his handler, Derek McCord, after the team was retired early from K-9 work due to knee injuries. Derek was blessed to learn from and work with some of the region's top Police K-9 trainers and handlers during his assignment to K-9, and this knowledge and experience is the basis of Blue Dog K-9's private dog

training program which can be personalized to meet your family's needs in the comfort of your own home. Blue Dog K-9 works with any breed of dog at any age, and currently we primarily work with dogs in the Collin County and surrounding areas. Some services offered include:
- Puppy training
- Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Obedience Training for any age
- Behavior specific problem solving training
- Agility training
- Preparation work for Search and Rescue dogs
