We are a 501(c)(3) volunteer run nonprofit organization focused on rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong sanctuary of wolfdogs.

We are all still shocked by the loss of our sweet Destiny Rose. This week we had several requests to provide sanctuary for wolfdog's. Unfortunately, we can only accept one more wolfdog and we would like to introduce you to Nyla, a two year old mid content female. She will be arriving from Indiana in the next week.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Destiny Rose on August 2, 2026, with the vet team by her side.

Destiny Rose was a stoic wolf dog, full of quiet strength and loyal love. It was a blessing to be the sanctuary that took care of her through her final days. Now she will rest with her owner, James, in heaven. 💔🐾

Please keep Destiny Rose, Jim, and their/our family in your thoughts and prayers. Prayer shares are welcome—if love could reach her, we would flood the heavens with it.

Our stoic sweet girl, Destinyrose, took a sudden turn this afternoon and has been rushed to McKinleyville Animal Care Center. The vet is currently thinking cancer, and we’re waiting on next steps and results to understand what’s going on and what treatment may be possible.

Katelyn Looking for a Forever Home 💗🌸

Beautiful 4 years old, 88lb spayed German Shepherd who is ready to find the loving family she’s been waiting for.

Katelyn is leash trained, house trained, and even cat-friendly! She has a gentle, mellow personality and enjoys peaceful walks at a relaxed pace, making her the perfect companion for someone who loves quiet adventures rather than high-energy activities. She especially loves having a yard to explore, but she’s also been doing wonderfully in an apartment foster home.

Katelyn is looking for a patient family who will give her the time and stability to truly settle in. She can be selective with other dogs, so slow introductions or being the only pet may be the best fit. In a calm, loving home, her sweet personality continues to shine brighter every day.

Like many dogs adjusting to big changes, kennel life has become stressful for her. What Katelyn needs most is a place where she can finally relax, feel safe, and be loved.

Katelyn is a 4-year-old spayed German Shepherd who is looking for a supportive home environment for her mental well-being—whether that’s foster-to-adopt, adoption, or a transfer to another rescue.

She is leash trained, house trained, and cat-safe. Katelyn is mellow and enjoys a calm pace on walks (slow pace—best suited for someone who isn’t looking for a runner or high-intensity sports partner). She loves having yard space, but she has done well in an apartment setting for the past 6 days while in foster.

Katelyn can be dog reactive/selective, and her current kennel setup is starting to stress her out even with modifications. She needs to be in a home environment.

She remains gentle overall, but she may jump when overly excited even though she understands better. A low-pressure environment will help her continue to thrive.
