UPDATE: REUNITED!! Fred is home safe & sound after 1 days, 14 hours :)

My dog Jackie and I searched for hours tonight. I knew he was close because jackie was going crazy around the perimeter of the house.

Exhausted, I gave up and at 2:15 am I was crawling into bed and Jackie suddenly barked and ran downstairs. Followed her to the back door and opened it. There was Fred!

I can't tell you how much everyone's words of encouragement helped keep me from falling apart. Everything you all said was likely, is what happened.

Message from Owner: Fred is Il YEARS OLD and has never been outside. We JUST MOVED here 3 WEEKS AGO. He is never more than a few feet away from me when I am . I found him on the street at just a few weeks old. He has know nothing but me and inside for 11 years.

He is very food motivated so hearing the words "TREAT" OR "GOOD FOOD" might actually help keep him in place. He also answers to his name so while He won't come to you, he may stay and listen if he hears his name.

Description: White and Gray, kind of chubby.

Message from Owner: Our dear cat Piñon has gone missing! We moved here from NM just one month ago, he is an outdoor and indoor cat, unfortunately he is not wearing a collar. He learned the neighborhood already, has been navigating it with no problem.

He is quick and savvy, highly unlikely that he was hit by a car (plus we've been looking everywhere). However, he is very affectionate and friendly to everyone - I fear that somebody might've picked him up. Our kids and his caretakers (me!) miss him dearly - we really appreciate any help and offer a reward.

Description: 4 year old striped, brown tabby cat, greenish yellow eyes. Extremely friendly and healthy/fit. Not wearing a collar.
