Attention all horse owners and lovers!

On Friday, March 14th, the Jasper, Butts, Morgan, and Jefferson county extension offices will be collaborating to host an day jam-packed with equine-related topics in Newborn. If you, or someone you know is interested, please call the the Jasper county extension office to register no later than March 10th in order to be counted for the provided lunch. We are so excited to offer this event and hope to see you there!

After more than 5 years with King Equine and many significant life changes—including a baby on the way this spring—Dr. Sara has made the decision to transition to small animal veterinary medicine. Life on the road, combined with pregnancy, a newborn, and being on call, is incredibly demanding. Dr. Sara’s last day with us will be Wednesday, December 18.

We deeply appreciate her hard work, dedication, and contributions during her time with us. Please join us in wishing her all the best in this exciting new chapter of her life!

📣 Heads up!! 📣
We will be CLOSED for all services and phone calls beginning at 1PM on Friday, May 3rd through Thursday, May 9th. We will be available by phone as we travel back on Friday, May 10th, and will reopen for emergencies in the evening. We will be out of the country fulfilling continuing education requirements with very limited access to our phones and no access to our software. In the rare event that you have an emergency during this timeframe, the universities will be available 24/7!

Due to circumstances, we will not be able to accept checks or money orders through the remainder of the year. We are able to accept cash, cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover), PayPal (friends and family only), or CareCredit. Please remember that full payment is due at the time services are rendered. Don’t forget that any accounts with a balance at the end of 2023 will be sent to collections.

Good morning! Monthly statements were sent yesterday so check your email! Any accounts with a balance as of 1/2/24 will be sent to collections and/or a suit filed for those already in collections. We are no longer billing for any reason and have done so previously as a courtesy. Unfortunately we can no longer offer that courtesy due to many taking advantage or just never paying their bill.

We accept cash, checks, debit/credit cards (visa, Mastercard, and Discover only currently), PayPal through friends and family ONLY, and CareCredit. CareCredit has their own rules that we must follow including full payment at the time of service, each invoice must be paid separately, and finance charges must be paid using a different form of payment. CareCredit payments made incorrectly will be refunded and the client asked to correct issues so we stay in compliance and can still continue to offer their service.

We’ve turned in all tickets purchased directly but Skipstone Academy just added the option to buy tickets online! You can use a credit/debit card or your PayPal balance. Tickets sales END AT NOON ON SUNDAY! The first drawing will take place at 5PM!

Be sure to include your name, best contact phone number, and email address and choose Walker or Charlotte King for the student name!

The kids are so close to their goal! Charlotte has 6 and Walker has 5 tickets left to meet their goal of 50 tickets sold each! You can purchase 1 or all 11, or more because there’s no limit! Don’t forget to buy your raffle tickets while you can! Tickets will be turned in no later than 3PM on Friday, September 29th. Drawings start on Sunday, October 1st! Charlotte needs to sell 24 tickets and Walker needs to sell 21 tickets for them to each meet their goal of 50 tickets sold (but they’ll gladly sell more than that)!

It’s that time for the annual Skipstone Academy 31 Days of Giveaways! Tickets are $20 each and must be purchased by Thursday, September 28th to be turned in by the next day. Drawings begin on Sunday, October 1st on Skipstone’s page.
This year King Equine Vet Services donated a 36” Blackstone grill as part of the grilling package! Both Walker and Charlotte have set a goal of selling at least 50 tickets each! All money goes directly to the school for campus maintenance and improvements to help keep tuition affordable.

How does it work?
For every ticket purchased you have up 31 days of chances to win! There are currently 42 prizes available to choose from. Each day’s winner can choose 1 prize from the list. As a prize is chosen, it’s removed from the list.

How many tickets can I buy?
There’s no limit and the more you purchase the more chances you have to win! If you purchase 42 tickets and are extremely lucky you could potentially win all 42 prizes!

When do drawings happen?
At least 1 ticket is drawn every morning during the month of October. With the additional prizes, some days will have multiple winners! The winner is contacted by phone and has until 5PM to claim the prize. You do NOT have to pickup your prize the same day, you just have to claim it.

How can I purchase tickets?
You can Venmo or CashApp your payment directly to Melissa and she’ll send you a picture of your completed ticket via text or email. In the notes please include “raffle”, your email address, and the best phone number where the school can reach you when your ticket is drawn. You can also pay with cash directly to Logan.

Dr. Croft is officially Dr. Collopy! Congratulations to the happy couple and their families! I understand many of you are anxious to see how beautiful she looked yesterday so I promise to post a photo when the photographer shares a sneak peek!
