League City Pets Alive Celebrating 18 years of Advocacy and Action for the animals of League City to continue to be no kill

We save dogs and cats other shelters might euthanize for lack of funds. League City Pets Alive funds most of the non-emergency veterinary care the League City Animal Shelter animals receive. Heartworm treatment/prevention, diagnostic testing, medications, medical supplies, flea prevention, food and formula for fostering fragile puppies and kittens. We accomplish this by being a non profit, having

tireless supporters, and an incredibly generous Facebook community. In 12 years we have forged many partnerships and coalitions. We are Adoption Partners with PetSmart, PETCO, and Pet Supplies Plus, in five stores throughout League City and Clear Lake. We have adoptable cats at these stores and are always looking for additional volunteers. When a dog or cat catch the attention of a person willing to spearhead a fundraiser you will see an article on Facebook and Cuddly.com. They have raised thousands of dollars to treat the animal's condition enabling the dog or cat be adopted and live a long, pain free life.

Four month-old Marina is the sweetheart of her littermates. Not shy, very outgoing. She loves attention, pets and probably long walks on the beach in the moonlight!

While Harbor is a bit more shy than his sister, he joyfully accepts pets once he is comfortable. He is food motivated and seeks interaction for snacks and treats. Churus are his favorite treat and a great ice-breaker! Harbor is big on naps and as cat-lovers all know, feline nap buddies make the best buddies!

Cissy is a three-month-old brown tabby kitten with a distinctive white “saddle” marking across her back that makes her truly one of a kind. Curious, alert, and confident, she loves following her people around and being part of whatever is going on. Once she feels comfortable, her playful personality shines through with toy chasing, pouncing, and exploring.

Cissy is affectionate and quick to purr when petted. She enjoys sitting in your lap, doesn’t mind being carried for short periods, and has a gentle nature that may make her a good fit for kids. Fostered with three large dogs and an adult cat, she is comfortable around other animals. She especially loves springs, soft balls, tunnels, and ball tower toys. Wow! What a kitten!
