any of you all got updates on theses pups as mature livestock defenders?

At 8 weeks old there is a whopping 160 #’s plus of pups here! It’s a bittersweet weekend as the puppies had their last meal together.

All 9 pups are sold and 6 will be traveling to new farms north, south, east and west of here over the next couple of days. 3 are staying for awhile longer for lgd mentorship before their new owners pick them up.

I’m excited to hear about their development and adventures in defense of their new farm’s livestock.

🐕I’m pretty impressed with these pups learning to be polite at just over 7 weeks. They know there will be no petting until they sit.

🐕Bonding with the lambs, goats, free range chickens and turkeys and even our barn cats.

🐕At this time there are 4 available. 3 Females 1 Male

🐕LGD Mentorship and basic obedience program available for up to 16 weeks.

🐕A little over 5 weeks old and lookingg for a their own set of livestock to guard!

🐕Raised with sheep, goats, cats, free range chickens and turkeys. From a longline of working LGD’s. Mentored by their 6 adult Anatolians.

🐕Offering LGD mentorship program where pups will learn basic obedience and continue to be mentored by our 6 adult lgd’s beyond 8 weeks.

Here are the available 3 pups at their 4 weeks photo session. I also evaluated their LGD personality characteristics. These 3 pups based on my current eval of them have personality characteristics to make them highly trainable and suited for LGD’s.

The puppies are 4 weeks now and enjoyed exploring outside the barn this past week!

Started the pups on food soaked in fresh goat milk. Juda has done a great job with her first litter. Personality assessments and weights coming later this week.

Aren’t they so cute!

A year or so from now these cute faces will be formidable defenders of anothet farm and/or family!

They come from a long line of proven livestock guardian dogs. Their natural instincts, the mentorship of their mother and our 5 adult LGD’s and the ongoing guidance of their new farm will be the keys to their success.
