⚠️☀️ FRENCH BULLDOG HEAT ADVISORY ☀️⚠️

With the extreme heat we’ve been having, this is an important reminder for all of our Frenchie families:

French Bulldogs cannot tolerate heat like many other breeds can. Because of their short noses and compact airways, they can overheat VERY quickly — sometimes before you realize they’re in trouble.

🐾 Keep your Frenchie indoors in the A/C as much as possible.

🚽 Potty breaks should be QUICK — literally out, potty, and right back inside. This is not the weather for hanging around outside.

🌅 If you take your Frenchie for a walk, go very early in the morning or later in the evening once temperatures and pavement have cooled. Skip the walk completely if it’s still hot or humid.

🚗 NEVER leave your Frenchie in a vehicle, even for a few minutes.

💧 Keep fresh, cool water available at all times.

🔥 Remember that pavement, concrete, decks, and other surfaces can become dangerously hot and burn paw pads.

⚠️ Watch closely for signs of overheating such as excessive or frantic panting, heavy drooling, weakness, stumbling, vomiting, very red or pale gums, confusion, or collapse. Heatstroke is a medical emergency.

Frenchies may want to stay outside and play, but they don’t always know when they’ve had enough. We have to make that decision for them.

Please keep those babies cool and safe! ❤️🐾

Another Waters Edge baby is officially HOME! 🥹🐾❤️

Congratulations to Jon on welcoming sweet Andy! Choosing between Andy and Woody was such a hard decision because these two boys are so much alike, and Jon was truly torn between them. 🥹💙

One of my favorite parts of what I do is helping each family choose the puppy that will be the best fit for their family and lifestyle. I spend lots of time sharing photos, videos, personality updates, and answering questions so families can really get to know each puppy before making that final decision. 🐾❤️ In the end, Andy was the one!

Jon and his assistant made the trip to Cookeville to pick him up today, and this handsome Solid Lilac little guy is officially a Nashville baby! 🎸🐶

Andy has been such a fun part of our Toy Story litter. He’s playful, outgoing, curious, and always ready to investigate whatever is going on around him. 😂 He has the sweetest personality, and we’re definitely going to miss that handsome little face around here! We’re so excited for all the adventures ahead of him in his new home. 💙

Jon is still deciding on the perfect name for his new little guy, so for now he’ll always be our sweet Andy. 🥰 We can’t wait to hear what he decides!

A little behind-the-scenes puppy life. 😂🐾

These babies just finished one of their favorite parts of the day—running, playing and exploring throughout the house—while we get their play area cleaned and reset. ❤️

At 9½ weeks old, I am SO proud of how well they are doing. They are doing absolutely amazing with their litter boxes and are currently having zero accidents in their play area! 👏🏼 That early foundation makes such a difference when they transition into their new homes.

They’ve had lots of hands-on attention, socialization, playtime and new experiences, and they are at such a fun age right now. 🥰

Several of these sweet babies are still looking for their perfect families and are ready for their next adventure. ❤️🐾

And yes… the freshly cleaned playpen will probably stay picture-perfect for approximately 0.5 seconds. 😂 Because when you put this many 9-week-old Frenchies together, somebody is ALWAYS playing!

Today’s play session turned into the perfect mix of learning, enrichment, and FUN! 🥰🐾

I meant to post this earlier today, but I got busy with a puppy family and completely forgot. 😂❤️

These babies had the best time running around the island, exploring, playing together, and working those little brains! We added in some brain games with their snuffle mats, letting them use their noses to sniff, search, and problem-solve. 🧠👃🐶

Mental enrichment can wear a puppy out just as much as physical play—and I think it’s safe to say we accomplished both today. 😂 By the time we were finished, everybody was completely worn out and ready for a good nap. 😴💤

There’s so much learning happening during what looks like simple puppy play—confidence building, problem-solving, social skills, new experiences, and learning how to navigate the world around them. ❤️

Play hard. Learn lots. Sleep harder. 😂🐾

Just another evening with the Toy Story crew! 🤠🐾❤️

These babies stay BUSY! 😂 One minute they’re wrestling over the same toy, the next they’re exploring, playing, and somehow all deciding they need whatever their sibling has.🤣

I love watching their little personalities come out more and more every day. They’re growing, learning, socializing, and getting lots of playtime and enrichment while they wait for their next adventures. 🥹❤️

Good morning & Happy Monday from this crazy little crew! ☀️🐾❤️

Our Toy Story babies are officially 9 weeks old, and sweet Sandy Cheeks is 12 weeks old! Sandy is the last little one here from our Bikini Bottom litter, so she has officially joined the Toy Story crew for lots of playtime, socialization, learning, and puppy companionship while she waits for her perfect family. 🥹❤️ And as you can see… she fits right in! 😂

We still have a few sweet faces waiting to see where their next adventure will take them. 🏡🐾

Their family has already placed their deposit and is just trying to make the VERY hard decision between these two boys! 😂 Their personalities are so much alike that choosing between them has not been easy. Once they make their final decision, one of these sweet boys will still be looking for his perfect family. ❤️

Until then, everybody is busy playing, learning, socializing, and enjoying their time here while they wait to find their fur-ever families. 🥰🐾 And let me tell you… they are BUSY babies! 😂 Between puppy pens, litter boxes, playtime, training, and puppies running all through the house, they definitely keep us on our toes! With this many little ones, it feels like I finish cleaning one puppy area just in time to start all over again. 🤣💩

But I wouldn’t trade watching them grow, learn, and develop their little personalities for anything. ❤️ Raising puppies is a whole lot of work behind those cute pictures and videos, but there’s nothing sweeter than watching each one eventually leave our home and begin their next adventure with the family they were meant for. 🥹🏡🐾

Look who had themselves a little spa day! 🛁🐾❤️🐾❤️ Their momma, April, sent me this sweet picture of Tucker (from our Snack Pack Litter, who is now 1 year old),and Brody (from our Winter Wonderland Litter, who will be 3 in December),🥹❤️ I swear, these two haven’t changed a bit—their personalities are still written ALL over their faces. 😂

Brody’s face is giving, “Well, that was fun… wake me up when we’re home.” 😴🤣 Tucker, on the other hand, looks like he’s thinking, “Okay, what are we doing next?!” 😂

And goodness, they are GORGEOUS all grown up! 🥹❤️👏👌

There’s something so special about getting past puppy updates on babies we raised and seeing them weeks, months, or even years later—happy, loved, thriving, and still showing those same little personalities we fell in love with from the very beginning. ❤️🐾

These kinds of updates absolutely make our day! Once a Waters Edge baby, always one of our babies. ❤️🐾

When your whole Bikini Bottom crew moves out before you do… you get adopted by the Toy Story crew. 😂❤️

Sweet Sandy is the last little Bikini Bottom baby still here with us, and we didn’t want her spending her days by herself while she waits for her perfect family. Socialization and continued learning are so important at this age, and we never want the progress we’ve worked so hard on to start going backwards simply because a puppy is the last one here.

So… Sandy officially moved in with the Toy Story crew. 😂🥹 And even though they aren’t technically littermates, you sure couldn’t tell them that!

They have done SO good together. They play, wrestle, explore, learn from one another, wear each other completely out… and then everybody sleeps GOOD at night. 😂🙌🏼

This is exactly why we put so much emphasis on enrichment, socialization and continuing our puppy curriculum even after our babies reach go-home age. Their learning doesn’t stop just because they’re ready for their next chapter. ❤️

And I think Sandy is pretty happy with her new roommates. 🥹🐾
