Horse Heroes Homeschool ~ Fall 2025 Routt County!

We are excited to bring the Horse Heroes Homeschool program for Fall 2025 to Homeschool Students in Routt County! This is a 4 session program on Fridays; Sept. 19, Sept. 26, Oct. 3 and Oct. 10. This Fall session will be offered with transportation from Yampa, however it is open to all Homeschoolers.

Adopted: Ginger & Molly!

When you’ve dreamed your whole life of owning a horse….this father daughter duo adopted Ginger & Molly, a dream come true and they now spend days together caring for the horses.

We are so happy we could help them find their first horses and are excited for these sweet mares to have found so much love! Thank you for adopting these two horses!

Community Volunteer Day - This SATURDAY!

Bring your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to our upcoming Community Volunteer Day and Volunteer Training! All ages are welcome and no horse experience is needed. We’ll start the day with a FREE pancake breakfast at 9:30.

At 10:00 we’ll take a tour of the ranch and move into the corrals to muck, fill water troughs, and meet the horses. No need to RSVP, just come on out! This is a great opportunity to be introduced to the Rescue for a one-time visit or to be trained to become a returning volunteer.

Adopted: Daisy!

Daisy found her very own little girl! This match is one of the sweetest ones of all time.

If you recall, Daisy made it to MVHR in early December, after she and her friend Rocky were found wandering around Oak Creek. She was in poor shape and we knew her recovery would take time. But many buckets of grain and love got her back on track in a few months time! In Spring we started working with her and learned she was broke to ride, and even had a little s***k in her step. We knew she would find her person this Summer for sure! Thank you for choosing to adopt Daisy!

And just like that we are heading into our last week of day camp! It’s been a blast and it’s been exciting to have so many kids at the ranch! Close to 300 spots were filled by children from an Eagle & Routt County!
