Sandy’s Bone-afide obedience training

This little girl is Millie. She is deaf and scared of just about everything. When I met Millie I couldn’t get near her. She would not let you put a collar on her so that means no leash. Today was our third session and she is allowing collar changes and leash walks. She’s not a fan but allows. She is learning to come with hand signals and vibrations. Still very skittish but will allow pets. She has a great family that’s willing to put the time and effort to teach her how to trust. So proud of every accomplishment all of them have made so far.

I am beyond proud of these two girls! The young lady worked so hard with her girl. Although she can hear, she learned how to read Rivers body language and communicate with motion. River learned the tones and vibrate on collar for different commands. When I first met this dog I couldn’t get close enough to pet her and now she takes treats and pets from me. Although she may not be on point with everything her accomplishments far outway her faults! I love being able to help others form these bonds! It really makes my heart burst with joy seeing accomplishments like this. Congratulations Dana and River!
