Well, Bar Z Retrievers has had a slow summer this year. Not many posts or weekend brags with the dogs. We are down to two dogs since Ace passed away leaving Cuff and her son Narc. Cuff is almost 10 and recently diagnosed with many tumors inside her little body, so she has been retired. I'm hoping to let her have one more duck hunting season this coming trip to ND, we'll see how she is feeling. Narc, her 2 1/2 year old son is like no other dog I've had before. He is a puppy 100% and immature for his age but loves to train, although a slow learner. We are taking our time with him but looking forward to his second hunting season this trip. Slow and steady wins the race. Hopefully we will be seeing many of our Hunt Test friends next year as we hit the circuit again.
