Bruno and I took obedience into a public setting at Petco, turning a simple store visit into a focused training session. While browsing, we worked on sit and down-stay to build his patience, focus, and control around distractions.

Every sound, smell, and movement is a test—and every calm decision Bruno makes is a win. This is how we reduce impulsive behavior and build a dog that can confidently exist anywhere.

Consistency is everything. Just 15–30 minutes in the morning and at night can make a huge difference when you stay disciplined and intentional with your training. 💪

Bruno and I kicked things off today with a bang 💥

When starting a new dog, I focus on building a strong foundation through basic obedience—but that doesn’t mean boring. I like to keep sessions fun, freestyle, and engaging by switching up the environment while still keeping things low distraction for beginners.

This helps Bruno stay focused, build confidence, and actually enjoy the learning process instead of feeling overwhelmed.

Bruno’s puppy energy is being redirected into purpose—sit, down, stay—and he’s already starting to understand how to win.

Before we get into the “cool” advanced stuff, we lock in the foundation. Daily obedience at home isn’t optional… it’s the backbone of everything your dog will ever learn. Sit, down, place, recall—these aren’t just commands, they’re a language. And the more consistently you speak it, the clearer your dog understands.

Bruno’s got that classic puppy energy ⚡️—the bouncing, the excitement, the “I want to do everything at once” mindset. Instead of trying to shut that down, we’re channeling it into purpose. We’re redirecting that energy into structured tasks like sit, down, and stay—teaching him that focus and calm behavior is what earns freedom.

Ditching the 9-to-5 grind to follow my passion wasn't a walk in the park, but it's been a dream come true. With zero experience and a whole lot of determination, I poured my heart into building a dog grooming and training business from scratch. Now, seeing my doggy friends thrive is all the validation I need. Every small win is a triumph, and every pup I train is living proof that my dreams are taking shape. Practice makes progress and every day is a learning opportunity im thankful for! Much love and blessings to all our family friends and clients for supporting us!
