MY TEEN DAUGHTER VANISHED! Amber, 13, reddish hair, freckles—she’s been missing for a week. This is every parent's worst nightmare.
No, she's not the type to run away. I know every parent says that, but it's true. I know my daughter. The thought that something terrible happened to her... I can't even begin to describe the pain.
The police tried, but they seemed so helpless, just shrugging like they had no answers. I was losing hope. But then, out of nowhere, as I was crying outside, I spotted a homeless woman with AMBER'S BACKPACK!
I knew it was hers! I ran up to her and offered money until she handed it over. I asked her where she found it, but she didn’t know much.
The bag was empty. Completely empty. My heart sank. I threw it down in despair, and that’s when a note slipped out. Just two words, but they changed everything.
