Hiring a full time groomer at Central Bark Downtown! (Downtown Milwaukee)

Our prices start at 70$ per groom! (My average price was 85-90$)
We charge for;
Handling (muzzle needs, elderly, or puppies)
Late fees
No call no shows
Dematting at 1$ per minute (I had a strict no extensive de-matting rule and worked with a “let’s cut down and try again” style that didnt receive many complaints)

If you want to charge for it and it’s something you can break down for clients, it’s allowed.

A la cart prices are high
Nail trims (22$!)
Gland expressions (22$)

You choose your clients and will have support to do what’s best for the dogs. That being said we are looking for a cooperative groomer, someone who will take their time with the dogs and work with patience, gentleness, and kindness.

We require schedules for all full maintenance grooms (2/4/6/8 weeks)
Lots of pre-scheduling for daycare dogs AND out of daycare clients.
You can make your own schedule or have the management team schedule and communicate with clients for you. Your choice!

This place is so cool, with fabulous benefits, competitive pay, and a stock full clientele list.

As I said previously, the daycare works on a cooperative style, as in one on one care. A lot of these pet parents know they are paying more for specialized care. Each pup that comes in is an individual and deserves curated care. That is honestly the most important qualification for this position. Wanting to love the dogs.

This might not be a great spot for someone new to grooming, but the right fit could be anyone!
Very accepting of everyone here. (As a trans person I feel very seen)

You also must have your own basic grooming supplies. (Blades, brushes, shears, clippers)

I have recently moved from another state to the Rockford/Jansville area, and looking for a permanent employment position.

Yes I have owned a successful shop and recently sold to move back to the Midwest. I do not want to be an owner lol I just need steady employment. Willing to drive an hour to work. Please map out before contacting me.

I am looking for 4 to 5 days a week I can produce 8 to 10 dogs a day with or without a bather. Looking for a w-2 with 60% commission but will consider 50 depending on average pricing and amount of dogs you can provide.

Qualifications:
I have been grooming almost 30 years now🐩
I do breed and show standard poodles.
Take pride in my scissor work, creative art in grooming, and experience on show dogs.
Spent the last 6 years dedication to furthering education with seminars and personal one on one training.
Have veterinarian technician back ground.
Worked under trainers with search and rescue and security dogs.
Have knowledge of proper handling techniques and skin and coat education.
The past 4 years have been a part of lending my standard poodles to educators and competition groomers in return absorbing so much knowledge and creating friendships in our industry.

I have been here 2 months and what I am finding is shop owners who say they can accommodate me with 8 dogs a day but shortly after hire have me staying home. I understand fluctuations in industry so if you have daycare or boarding I will be more than happy to work in those departments if grooming is slow!!!!

Again I am a master groomer looking for at least 4 days a week on a w-2 commission employment. Have great scissor skill and artistic eye for grooming. Extremely passionate about my career and will not tolerate any sort of abuse or improper handling or restraint at job. No drama or egos please!!!! Will travel an hour to my employment.

Currently working Tuesday Thursday Saturday but not consistently.
