well being of abused and abandoned animals by providing food, shelter,
medical care, and compassion and love for the rest of their natural lives
in a permanent, safe and healthy environment. The Funny Farm continues to
function as a sanctuary and shelter, allowing for adoptions when possible,
and being a forever home when impossible. To us, our mission is simple and
clear: To ensure the permanent wellbeing of all animals.

We were so happy to welcome back the team from USB Financial of Northfield for a day of group volunteering!

OurJunior Critter Camp Counselor, Gavin, joined in on the fun, and he was already hard at work before the group arrived, tackling all kinds of farm chores to help get things ready.

Together, they deep-cleaned animal areas, replaced pine shavings, refreshed water, and helped make the Funny Farm a little cleaner, cozier, and happier for our rescued residents.

There’s something truly special about people coming together to lend a hand, get a little dirty, and make life better for animals who depend on us. We’re incredibly grateful to USB Financial and Gavin for sharing their time, energy, and kindness with our Funny Farm family.

Here…Jesse has Megaesophagus. Doctors said to euthanize him. Look at his life now. No drugs. Just the happiest puppy you ever saw. He just needed someone who wouldn’t give up on him. Now he has Laurie.
