A rally course will be set up on Monday, June 1st, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., followed by group obedience practice. A $10 fee will be charged for non-member walk-ins. SDTC members, please note that a brief club meeting will take place after practice on Monday, June 8th. Your attendance at this meeting is greatly appreciated. ** $10 walk-in fee for non-members. Course signs typically are Novice through Advance level.

SDTC members have attained new AKC titles over the weekend at Lower Camden County Dog Training Club. Congratulations to Marie and her rough collie Penny, and Nancy and her German Wirehaired Pointer Chief, who both earned placement ribbons with awesome scores!! Both teams have now achieved their AKC Rally Intermediate titles. In addition, Juliet and her Havanese Nena have secured their first leg in Rally Excellent.
Another job well done by all.. ♥️

A highly successful AKC Fetch event was hosted over the weekend by the South Jersey Pine Barrens Golden Retriever Club. SDTC teams that took on the challenge included Dylan and Stu, Colleen and Delilah, Ellen and Telly, Nancy and Bodhi, Kristy and Shotgun Shelly and Gail w/Breeze. Very happy to report that they've all achieved the AKC Novice Fetch title, qualifying in two straight trials. For more information on FETCH, please visit: https://www.akc.org/fetch/titles/. The event was a fun and engaging experience, thanks to the tireless efforts of the judges and their club members. Special thank you going out to all of them!! Participants learned a great deal and are looking forward to their next opportunity to advance to the next level.

🐣 Happy Easter‼️🐇 On Monday, April 6th, a Rally course will be set up from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will be followed by group basic obedience practice. This is a good opportunity to become familiar with the different AKC signs offered in Rally. The course will include signage for levels, from Beginner to Advanced. Non-SDTC members are invited to attend. There's a $10 walk-in fee for non-members.

Huge congratulations to SDTC members, team Nancy with Chief and team Gail with her two German Shepherds, Breeze and Icy. Over the past weekend, at the Lower Camden County Dog Training Club, they achieved qualifying scores in the 190s out of a possible 200 points towards their respective AKC titles. Chief earned his second leg towards a Companion Dog title (CD) and was awarded 1st place. Icy also earned 1st place in her division and her first leg towards her Open title (CDX). Breeze, not to be outdone by the others, received her second leg towards her Utility Dog Excellent title (UDX). Please keep up the good work and we look forward to seeing more members entering the obedience ring in the months to come!

SDTC offers basic group dog obedience class on your choice of Monday or Tuesday evenings from 7:30 pm til 8:30 pm. Eight weekly sessions $125.
First Monday of each month (6:30 pm 'til 7:30 pm) we have Rally Run-throughs. After which dogs & owners work on basic obedience skills in a group setting.
