This weekend, we had one of the most heartwarming moments. The video shows Roo, a 4 year old border collie who we've been working with since October 2025. Roo presented with a lot a pain in her left, front leg. After several rechecks, blood tests, x-rays and a biopsy, it was discovered that Roo had Osteosarcoma, which is very unusual for her breed and age. Unfortunately, amputation was the only treatment. With her front left leg missing, it created tremendous stress and fatigue on her front right leg, mostly focused on her carpus or wrist. Thanks to Sean at New Stride Animal Orthopedics and Prosthetics, Roo was fit with a Carpal-Stride Brace that acts as a stabilizer for her wrist while she's out working or playing to prevent repeated damage to the joint, helping to keep it strong and healthy throughout her life. It didn't take long at all for Roo to get the hang of her new brace, getting her back to her active, happy self. ❤🐾
