Meet Hannah, our Volunteer Spotlight! 💜

My name is Hannah and I have been a volunteer at the THS for about 6 months now. I have always had a love for animals, and wanted to give back in the Toledo area and thought volunteering at the THS would be a perfect fit for me!
Outside of volunteering, I am a third year pre-PA student at The Ohio State University. When I am not studying, I love to read, workout and spend time with the people I love. I have a 10-year Pitbull mix named Brady! My family and I rescued him when he was about two years old and has been my best friend ever since.
At THS, my favorite way to volunteer is to walk the dogs and take them out into play yards to spend time with them! I love being able to see their unique personality shine and give them all the love and enrichment I can.
Growing up, my family has always been a dog family, and I love the idea of brightening their day even if it is just for a small amount of time and also helping out the lovely staff at the shelter. A fun fact about me is that I am a first generation college student!
