We’re used to it raining cats and dogs… but today, it’s raining rabbits! 🐰☔

Our friends at Portage Animal Protective League recently rescued more than 75 rabbits from a single home, and THS stepped in to help by welcoming 26 of them into our care—including the cutest little baby bunnies you’ve ever seen!

Right now, these fluffy newcomers are not available for adoption. Each rabbit will need a full physical exam, spay/neuter surgery, and any necessary medical care before they’re ready to find loving homes. The moms and babies will be heading to foster homes where they can grow big, strong, and healthy.

💔 This is the difference a home can make. 💔

When Binkie and Bond were in foster care, they blossomed.

They played, explored, watched birds from the window, and snuggled up together every chance they got. They felt safe, comfortable, and loved.

Now they're back at THS, and shelter life has been hard on them.

Bond (1 year old) and Binkie (2 years old) were found abandoned by their original owner. Thanks to their amazing foster mom, they had the chance to learn that people can be kind and that home is a place where they can truly relax and be themselves.

Their foster mom describes them as "energetic, fun cats that are attached at the hip." They look to each other for comfort, love playing together, and still have plenty of playful kitten energy. Bond is a fan of Bird TV, while Binkie discovered that sinks make the perfect napping spot!

Unfortunately, the shelter environment is overwhelming for this sensitive duo. The confident, playful cats their foster family got to know are harder to see when they're feeling scared and stressed in a shelter environment.

We know who they are. We know how much love they have to give. Now they just need someone willing to look past the shelter walls and see it too.

Binkie and Bond are bonded and must be adopted together. If you've been thinking about adding a pair of cats to your family, please come meet them. They don't need another foster home to save them—they need a forever home to choose them. 💜

This sweet girl loves showing off her tricks, going for walks, and earning plenty of tasty treats along the way. Xena's favorite thing, though, is spending quality time with her people and building a special bond with those she trusts.

Xena appreciates being given the chance to take things at her own pace and having space when she needs it. Once she's comfortable, her playful, affectionate personality shines bright and is sure to keep you smiling!

She may enjoy being the only dog in the home where she can soak up all the attention, but she'd be happy to meet any potential canine siblings before heading home.

If you're looking for a best friend who's equal parts lovable and playful, Koda might just be your perfect match!😍

At 1 year old, Koda is a big-hearted boy with an even bigger love for toys. Whether it's a tennis ball, squeaky toy, or something new to toss around, this happy pup is always ready for playtime. He already knows "sit" and "shake," and he's eager to keep learning with his future family.

Koda previously lived with a 9-year-old child and was reported to do well. Because of his size and enthusiasm, he may be a little too much for very small children, but he genuinely loves being around people and soaking up attention.

Koda would do best meeting any potential canine companions before heading home. He came to us after sustaining injuries from another dog in the home, and while he's shown little interest in dogs here at the shelter, a slow introduction with the right match could help him feel comfortable.
