When your pet stays in their own environment with familiar and comforting surroundings, while continuing their reliable routine, they are less likely to experience the stress and anxieties associated with sudden change. To the best of my ability, I will keep your pet on a schedule they are accustomed to. This ensures they can rely on their daily routine with very limited change. I am dedicated to each and every pet in my care. I have worked extensively with pets with special needs, including my very own pets at home. If your pet has any special needs, such as daily medications, treatments, or other health issues/concerns, rest assured I understand firsthand the importance of proper and timely administering. Detailed instruction will be discussed in person during our initial consultation. At Happy Paws, I strive to provide your pet with the love, care, and one on one direct attention they deserve . You can have piece of mind while away, knowing the needs and desires of your beloved pets are being met by a loving, experienced, trustworthy and professional pet sitter.

After 16 years together, I unexpectedly had to say goodbye to my beloved Gizmo on Father’s Day. If you know me personally, you know how much Gizmo and White Baby mean to me. Losing Gim is losing a big piece of my heart. Gizmo and White Baby were born in my garage to a stray cat we lovingly named Big Momma. We have been together since the day she was born. She has been with me for some of my most important years, and through significant losses, lovingly by my side and serving as my rock the entire way. She owned my heart.

R.I.P, My Sweet Gizmo,

From the moment you came into this world you’ve filled my heart in ways I never knew possible. I will be forever grateful for you and the incredible light you brought into my life. Thank- you for all the love and companionship you have given me over the years. My life was better because of you. I love you more than words can ever say. I miss you so very much. Rest easy, baby girl!

There are many reasons I love what I do, but there is nothing like witnessing firsthand the second chances that rescued dogs and cats get. Seeing them live their best lives in their forever homes is definitely at the top of my list.

When my clients lost their sweet Buggins at the beautiful age of 18, they chose to rescue not one, but three amazing cats. I am so glad these sweet girls have found such a loving family and are now living the life of luxury. I am so happy for them and wish them a life full of happiness .😻

Adopting a shelter animal not only provides a loving home for that fur baby, but also makes space in shelters for another dog or cat to find their forever home. Thenk- you to all those who have adopted or plan on adopting.🥰

While it’s often said that one shouldn’t fall in love too quickly….clearly they have not met Grizzly; exceptions must be made. This handsome, fetch obsessed German Shepherd is the whole package and has stolen my heart. I sure will miss him. His parents are coming home today, and I am officially on vacation for the week.😎

Happy Birthday to my very own girls, Gizmo and White Baby, who turn 16 today! My life is so much sweeter having them in it Gizmo and White Baby always feel like home to me. They have been with me through my worst days, always loving me without judgement. They make me laugh when no one else can. They are my confidants, my shadows, my babies. They make our house a home. I couldn’t have asked for better fur babies!! I love them with all my being.

Everyone, please help me wish Cooper the happiest of 14th birthdays. Today is extra special not only because it’s his birthday, but also because I get to spend it with him. We had a busy day. First, we went to visit his veterinarian at the Mattawan Animal Hospital, where Cooper was absolutely wonderful as always. After that, we headed to Dog Daze Boutique for some shopping, and he was happy to be gifted a pup cup. Tonight I get to keep celebrating with him while doing overnight cuddles. I couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate his special day!!
