Hutch came in for his first groom ever! What a sweetheart! He had some matting in the section behind his ribs and down the back of his legs but we were able to spot shave and cut these areas and save his coat. We think he came out so handsome! What do you think?

Judith had these pups working their downs at Gonzalo Park last night. It was Milo’s first group class. He came in pulling his owner every which way but straight and left with a new respect for the leash and Lesette. We’re very happy to work with them!

It was this little guys first groom. He was very nervous about it but funny enough, he didn’t mind the blowdryer. The owner also wants to bring him to group class at the park with Judith Poole for some socialization and desensitization! Judith is running group class twice a month at Gonzalo Park.

Legs can be very deceptive! It may look like you’re combing out your dog’s hair well, but if you don’t pick up the long hair and comb close to the skin, there may be mats. When I cut the top layer of hair (that looks pretty well combed out) you can see how many mats were underneath. When the mats get to be this dense, it is much more humane to just shave the hair off. Putting the dog through the pain and irritation to save the hair isn’t worth it

We took care of this sweetheart who was in need of some serious care! It’s hard to see in the before photos but she had some very severe matting and tick infestation. Hopefully this clean up will give her some relief
