The top photo is one of the last photos I took of Rosie and Jack together from April 15th. And itโs one of my favorite photos of them together now because itโs of Jack giving his sister kisses.
Rosie ended up crossing the rainbow bridge the following week after I saw her ๐๐พ๐
Iโm not going to lie, itโs a strange feeling, when youโre greeted by two dogs for so long at one house, then youโre only greeted by one.
Today, felt different. Sure, Jack was his usual barking self when I walked through the door ๐คช
But it wasnโt the same. And I think he could tell. I was just waiting for the little white fluff ball to come waddle up to the gate, as well. Jack knew she wasnโt coming. So he gave me extra kisses. He usually only gives me one kiss, if Iโm lucky lol.
Today, he gave me at least five and yawn/bark (something new Iโve never seen!)
Even though it ended up raining on us, I know Rosie was with us in spirit. Because nothing prevented us from stopping and smelling the roses, even in the rain ๐
*Little background- Rosie was a real stubborn schnauzer that wanted to go her way or no way. She would just stand there and not budge. She didnโt care if it was below zero degrees frigid hail storm. She would plant her paws into the ground until you either went her way or waved a bag a carrots in her face ๐ She was NOT playing around!*
So while we were admiring the roses in the rain, I made a photoshoot out of the moment. Why not?And the bottom photo of Jack โkissingโ the rose, reminded me of my last photo of Jack kissing his sister, Rosie ๐๐น
