We’re excited to announce that dog-safe creative color has officially returned to our service lineup!

It’s been a long time since we’ve offered color services, and today Re*****on the Bernedoodle is helping us bring it back in style! 🩵 He rocked a fun blue mohawk and matching blue tail, and we absolutely loved the finished look.

Whether you want a colorful mohawk, tail, ears, feet, or another fun accent somewhere else, we’ve got a variety of dog-safe colors available.

🐶 A few things to know:
• Color is an add-on service and is not included with grooming.
• Pricing varies depending on what you’d like done.
• We must know ahead of your appointment, as color adds extra time to your dog’s groom.

✂️🐾 Mallory’s Pawtique Training & Grooming Tip 🐾✂️

Sometimes the best haircut isn’t the one the owner imagined—it’s the one the dog can happily handle.

As groomers, it’s easy to focus on appearance, but my priority is always the dog’s emotional well-being. If a shorter haircut means your dog is calmer, more comfortable, and able to enjoy the grooming process, then that’s the right choice.

Not every dog enjoys:
• Standing for long periods.
• High-velocity dryers.
• Lengthy brushing sessions.
• Grooming in general.

That’s okay.

Grooming should be a positive experience, not something your dog has to endure. Every appointment is also a training opportunity, helping build confidence and trust for the future.

I’ve made this decision with my own Schnauzers. I love a beautiful Schnauzer pattern, but some of my dogs simply enjoy grooming more when it’s shorter and quicker. Their comfort matters more than keeping them in a “perfect” trim.

Your dog isn’t competing in a show ring—they’re your best friend.

A stress-free dog will always be more beautiful than the fanciest haircut. ❤️🐾
