Hey everyone! I decided to step out of my comfort zone and rent a booth at the Lansing Gun & Knife Show this weekend. Today was a blast as I roughed in one beautiful buck from this year's youth season right there at the show. It's coming along great, but still needs a few tweaks to make it perfect. If you're around, come say hi! I'll be back tomorrow (Saturday) from 9 AM to 5 PM, planning to mount TWO more bucks live. This week, I had an awesome experience with Ault's Spray Foam Insulation Plus and had to share! I reached out with the square footage details, and they hooked me up with an estimate the very same day. Super quick and straightforward. On the scheduled date, the team showed up right on time, prepped the area with plastic to keep everything clean from overspray, and got right to work applying the spray foam to my new skinning room. They wrapped up the job that same day and left the place spotless—no mess at all. These guys are total pros, easy to work with, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Hey hunters and families gearing up for Michigan's Youth Deer Season this weekend! With the warmer temps expected this weekend, it's crucial to get your harvest to your taxidermist as quickly as possible. Heat can cause fur loss / slippage on the cape, which might affect the quality of your mount. Don't wait—bring in the cape and antlers right away to keep everything in top shape!
