New Policies – Effective Immediately

Drop-In Visit Requirements:
To ensure the health and well-being of all pets in our care, we are now requiring a minimum of either:
Five (5) 15-minute visits, or
Three (3) 30-minute visits per day
when dogs are left home alone for consecutive days without anyone staying overnight.

If we determine that this level of care is not sufficient based on your dog’s specific needs, we will provide a customized care recommendation.

Please note:
For senior dogs or pets with special medical or hygiene needs (e.g., bladder expression, frequent accidents, bathing due to incontinence), a cleaning fee may be applied to cover the additional time and care required.

Boarding Pick-Up Fees
Pick-up times and fees for boarding services are as follows:
Before 12:00 PM – No additional charge
By 4:00 PM – $30 per dog | $20 per additional dog
After 4:00 PM– $40 per dog | $25 per additional dog

Late Fee Policy
Payment is due upon receipt unless prior arrangements have been made. A late fee of 10% will be applied to any outstanding balance that is more than 2 days past the due date.

We kindly ask that all invoices be paid on time to avoid any late fees and to ensure uninterrupted service. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Friday:9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: By appointment only
Note: Daycare is not available Friday through Sunday

For all Boarding and Daycare services, please text us your estimated time of arrival (ETA) when heading to Tail & Teal. This helps us provide timely and organized service.

Accident & Marking Policy:
If a pet begins to mark or have repeated accidents during their stay, we will place them in a safe and comfortable dog diaper to maintain a clean environment for all guests. An additional $8/night fee will apply when diapers are required.

Please understand that, even with thorough cleaning, residual scents may encourage marking behavior. This policy helps us ensure a sanitary and stress-free environment for all dogs in our care.

WANTED: Frequent Flyer
10% off your first booking! 🐕

We are looking for 1-2 families that we can offer kennel free boarding to. Location is across from Kroger on 5250 Newtown Dr, Liberty Twp, OH 45011.

What qualifies a Frequent Flyer?
- a FF is a dog that regularly comes for boarding, usually 10+ times a month.

Are there other pets?
- Yes, the Liberty Township location will have 2 large breed dogs, similar to Bronco & Ranger at our Mason house location.

“Emily, why do you require slip leads on top of a standard leash when walking the dogs?”

Because I’ve seen too many dogs slip a collar and run away. Collars way too loose. Dogs who pull and slip away from the walker… so many different reasons. Slip leashes (when used correctly) are almost escape proof. All of the dogs who get walked from T&T Boarding & Daycare actually have their slip leads anchored to a walking waistband, so if they try to run, the standard leash gets dropped, etc., they are still attached to the walker. These are actually my two dogs in the photo and I advised slip leads aren’t required but we still opted to use them! Safety first ✅

It’s such a simple precaution that can prevent something devastating.
