Our friends over at Spring Valley Ranch have only 2 left out of this year's foal crop!

The first one is a handsome stud c**t by their main man Grit (Krogs Fiddle Cat). Two of ours this year were by Grit and they were smart, sensible, and easy to be around. This guy is out of Senic Shining Tivio who is Shining Spark, Reminic, Smart Little Lena bred. Shes a classy mare with brain and substance that she has passed onto this guy. The Grit babies have been killing it not only as true working ranch horses, but in the arena and especially in the mounted shooting events!

This next filly is one of my favorites from their crop this year. She is out of Flint (BZ Flirtn NHollywood) who we are breeding our nice Jae mare to this year! The Flint babies are known for their good nature's and easy going brains. They want to be broke. Flint also puts some shape to his offspring! Shes thickend up since this photo and looks ready for an Ideal Ranch class! He has progeny earnings over over 5k already (hopefully we get to add too that with out 2027 baby!). This filly is super cool because she crosses both studs standing at Spring Valley. Her dam is an own daughter of Krogs Fiddle cat, so you get the best of both lines!

Both are eligible for the Ranch Horse Extravaganza and Futurity, AQHA Ranching Heritage classes and the VRH classes!

2 very long days for this freshly weaned (Monday) c**t but absolutely blown away with him. Hauled to Missouri for the last NWMSOF show and while 6th place in weanling stallions had us out of the money, this c**t is the jackpot.

First show, first bath, 2nd time in the trailer (8hrs round trip) and he acted like a seasoned pro. I couldn't be more proud of how he handled everything.

Next trip is the October Heartland Buckskin Horse Association show. Thankfully its only 4 miles away, not 4hrs 😅 shout out to Broken Z Ranch Quarter Horses for letting us borrow a halter and for standing Freddie's sire!

Two very different opinions on weaning day yesterday 😂 the mamas are turned out and enjoying quiet child free grazing (thanks to Robin Fox for the of site pasture!) The babies on the other hand have been expressing their opinions. Everyone is taking it well and the babies are adapting to their new life.

Freddie has his first show in Missouri on the 13th, Radar goes to his new home on the 14th, and Scarlett makes the long journey to Alabama on the 26th!

First day halter training for all 3 babies! As expected, they all started to figure it out in the first 10min! Super impressed with this year's babies ❤️

2024 registered IBHA Dun c**t

His sire Dreamfield Galen was the type to work all day, pack the kids after school and get cleaned up to show on the weekends. He was the Norwegian Fjord Alliance High Point Reining Horse. Showing and earning points in the NCRCHA Rookie classes, he also showed in all the ranch events.

His dam Foxy Little Lucy was a go getter mare worth her weight in gold the showed in all the ranch classes and was a money earner in ranch classes and jackpot Reining. Both were great youth horses too, and were amazing outside of the arena.

Sebastian ties, lunges, & loads in the trailer. He has a good mind, puppy personality, and a gentle nature. PM if you would like more info. I raised his sire from a weanling and got his Dam as a 2yo. I have hundreds of photos of both and of his full brother too if you want to see how he matures!

When it comes to breeding sometimes you have to be flexible 👌 super excited for next year's c**ts. I love me some older lines! The stud is Red Dun so there is the bonus of possibly some color! Just waiting for verification that they both took then the ladies can come home and I can spam with baby photos!
