That’s why it is important you are careful going behind a horse that you don’t know. Make where you are well known, keep a hand on their hindquarters or just keep your distance. 🙂

Fun fact, Did you know horses can’t breathe through their mouths?

The horse is an obligate nasal breather: it can only breathe through its nostrils, unlike people who can breathe through their nose or mouth or nose and mouth simultaneously. This is because a structure called the soft palate completely separates the upper part of the airway above the mouth from the mouth itself.

Lastly is miss Ginger!

Ginger is also 19 years young. She is safe for any age, any level. Ginger is a character and is your typical red mare when it comes to her pasture mates. Ginger has been there done that! She stands to be groomed and to be learnt on. Ginger also belongs to my sister, if you wish to take lessons on Ginger as main ride I will get you in contact with my sister!

Next up is MC Fleet Cruizer aka Sweetpea!

She is 25 years young! She is still a 2 year old at heart. This mare has seen it all and done it all. Great step up for kids who have learned the ropes! Sweetpea isn’t for everyone, she is a great teacher horse though. She will show you the ins and outs on how a horse should be treated that’s for sure! She was born and raised right here in our barn by my mom! Sweetpea is a sweetheart, and loves attention. She’s got a load of trail miles on her hooves. Not to mention, she is a bit clumsy. ❤️

First up is Misty Blue! She is 19 years young, and she is an Arabian / American Quarter Horse cross! She adores children and enjoys being groomed. Misty is the sweetest mare, safe for anyone! We have had her for 10 years, going on 11.

Anyone interested in some riding lessons this winter, or for the spring time? Pm me for pricings and to book with us! I’m better at teaching beginners than advanced riders. Ages 8+. My sister is also an available trainer. Prices vary. These are the horses that will be used! All of which are safe for any level! 🙂
