PetSafe Dog Park at Pistol Creek

The dog park will be closed tomorrow, July 21st while the maintenance crew from Maryville-Alcoa-Blount County Parks & Recreation Commission does some work throughout the park. It'll re-open again on Friday, July 22nd.

The return of our Paws In The Park event is only a few weeks away! Get your pupper ready to join us for a heckin' good time on Saturday, May 1st! We are happy to announce the PetSafe Dog Park at Pistol Creek will be re-opening this Saturday 5/16. All users should still follow CDC guidelines for social distancing, hand-washing, and other methods to protect yourself and others from disease transmission.

Paws In The Park is still on for tomorrow! Can't wait to see everyone and their puppers out there!

We hope to see you tomorrow from 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM at the Pistol creek Dog Park! Weather looks to be cooperating better now for our original date of Saturday, so we'll see you tomorrow! Bring a rain jacket just in case along with your blanket or chair and enjoy the scheduled activities! Parking is available at the BC Health Department or behind Midland Plaza along the tree line. We recently had someone voice some concerns about folks ignoring the posted rules at the Dog Park. We want to remind everyone to make sure to follow the posted rules and help remind others to make sure they are following the rules as well. You can refer them to the posted rules if need be. If that is unsuccessful you can contact the Maryville Police Department non-emergency dispatch at (865) 983-3620 for any emergencies call 911.
