The I Love Lucy litter had some free play outside today. First three to go out were Badger, Lucy and Carolyn. They went out with all the big dogs. Only Lucy sat for a picture. Then Ethel, Betty and Fred went out. They all did great and didn’t try to wander away. All came when called. Of course they wait to come inside to use their potty area to go p**p!

I Love Lucy puppies are 6 weeks old now. We have been working on not jumping to get a treat (they’re doing pretty good considering they’re in a group). Today we had some outside time while their play/sleep quarters were cleaned up and new toys stocked to play with. After pictures we had toe nail cutting time and then put in the area to take a nap.

I Love Lucy litter had some outside time today while their enclosure was cleaned out. They had fun playing with the balls and checking out the grass. Even Dad kept a watchful eye over them while I was cleaning potty pads.

We’re a day late in posting the puppies weekly photos. The I Love Lucy litter is 5 weeks old. They continue to grow and exploring whatever they find. The I Love Lucy litter is starting to play with toys more when we move them around. I got a couple to tug a little. They got to go outside for their first time yesterday. I didn’t get any pictures. We were in the moment and Lucy’s family was here meeting her and playing with everyone. Tomorrow we will get their 5 week photos up.

The puppies have upgraded from liquid mush to smashed softened food. They are getting the hang of drinking from the bowl. They love to come out in the play area to eat and run around. They have discovered some other dogs and want to play with them too. We’re almost half way through their time with us. It’s going by so fast.

Little video of the puppies now that they’re moving really good. They had the water bottle introduced today and also had their deworming. I will be trimming nails later to get them used to that (and to help mama’s belly from sharp nails).
