One of the hardest parts of this job is the unknown- because it's never just about the pets, it's about the people who love them.
Earlier this year, I booked my first recurring client for our new mobile grooming business. She was vibrant, kind and someone I truly cherished seeing every few weeks. I often stayed after her appointment just to talk. She made my days brighter.
When she didn't confirm her last appointment, my heart knew something wasn't right. After reaching out and connecting with family, I learned she is very ill and bedbound. My last visit with her was 3 weeks ago. I gave her a hug never knowing it would be the last.
This isn't just grooming. We don't build customers- we build relationships. We aren't here because it is a job, we are here for the love we have with your pet and with you. We notice when your pet is happy and healthy and we notice when your pet is not well or having a bad day. We see more in that 1-2 hour groom than most realize. We see your pets and you regularly, we notice changes, and we care deeply.
Every pet, every person and every bond leaves a permanent place in my heart โค๏ธ
