Scam alert! Twisted Arrow Farms does not have horses for sale. Someone has been using our information to try to scam people. Please reach out to me if you have seen any advertising of horses from our barn or if you are unsure if an ad is legit. I have attached a screenshot of the scammer’s fb page. Thank you!

Twisted Arrow Farms in Marysville, Ohio will be hosting a 3-day Hands-On Hoof Trimming Workshop followed by a 2-day Glue-On Composite Shoe Workshop with Kristi Leuhr from the Okanagan School Of Natural Hoof Care. We have decided to split the course to be able to better accommodate those who may only be able to get away for 2 or 3 days vs 5 days.

3-day Hands-On Hoof Trimming Workshop will run August 18th-20th, 2025

2-day Glue-On Composite Shoe Workshop will run August 21st & 22nd, 2025

Central Ohio Horse People!

I am planning on hosting a 5 Day Hands On Barefoot Hoof Trimming clinic with Kristi Luehr from the Okanagan School of Natural Hoof Care in Kelowna, British Columbia. Clinic will take place at my farm in Marysville sometime in August (likely the third week of August but still tbd). This clinic is for absolutely anyone, whether you want to learn to trim your own horse’s feet, want to peruse a future career in hoof care, or just want to know how to properly advocate for your horse’s hoof needs. All levels of experience are welcome!

This 5 Day Hands On Trimming Course will give you the skills needed to confidently assess and evaluate a horse's hoof care needs and includes follow up consultations and continued learning. This clinic will include access to the very in-depth Online Hoof Anatomy and Theory Training Prerequisite Course ahead of time, then the hands on training and 3 months of access to the virtual classroom after for participants. We will cover everything from evaluation, mapping, trimming and composite shoe application. Participants are encouraged to bring your own horse(s) for use in the clinic so you can learn exactly what their specific trimming needs are. Auditors will also be able to bring their horses IF we have additional room for them.

Please message me for more information and I should have exact costs figured out soon but it would likely be around $1500 per participant (maybe less depending on how many participants sign up). This is an incredible offer especially for 5 full days of hands on learning!
