The 3-acre dog park is generally in good condition, but it could use a little mid-summer cleaning. The day's tasks over about 2 hours will include:
* Mowing and trimming inside the small dog area and along park fence
* Scrubbing weather-worn park signage, dog drinking fountain, benches, etc.
* Weeding the agility course sign work
* Pet waste and garbage pickup inside and around the dog park (from trailhead to into dog park.)
* Sweeping concrete pads
* Refilling dog-dug holes within the park
* Refreshing drinking water access for dogs at the south end of the park. Please feel free to bring your own bottled water, also.M-DOG is a nonprofit organization that provides year-round stewardship and basic maintenance in support of the Marysville Parks and Recreation Department for the city’s premier off-leash park. It’s always okay to bring your own dogs to the cleanup with you, and the park is open while work is performed. Bring work gloves and dress accordingly for weather that is pleasant conditions, a slightly overcast days with morning lows in the mid-50s and reaching 76 degrees in the afternoon.
