🇺🇸🐾 This September 11th, we’re showing up for those who show up for all of us.
First Responder Therapy Dogs is launching our National Day of Comfort, bringing FRTD therapy dog teams together across the country for a coordinated day of remembrance, service, and support.
Our teams will visit police departments, fire stations, EMS agencies, dispatch centers, and other first responder agencies in their own communities...honoring those we lost, remembering those who answered the call, and providing comfort and connection to those who continue to serve today.
Some visits may be quiet moments with a crew. Others may include an agency remembrance ceremony, a meal or coffee donated by a local business, or simply a therapy dog sitting beside someone who spends every day taking care of others.
Different dogs. Different communities. One mission.
REMEMBER. SERVE. COMFORT.
