HELLO! Long time since i posted .We been very busy grooming and making all your fur babies stunning. Well summer is right around the corner. You may notice your fur babies are probably starting to molt or as grooming professional call blowing coat. FYI even through you may think shaving your fur babies down to the skin will keep them cooler. This is not true. In actuality you have a much higher risk of heat stroke. No hair no insulation from sun rays. By leaving 2 inch of hair on there body they will store cooler temps between there skin and there outer coat. You NEVER SHAVE A DOUBLE COATED BREED of dog there are breeds that molt aka (blowing coat). Examples golden retrievers. Alaskan breed dog all blow out the undercoat if you think about shaving off your dog coat this is a horrible idea .Check clipper alopecia on the web . This can help you understand and see for yourself. Give us a call we book out very quickly. 314-997-6905. This note is for Doodle breeds. You must brush and comb your doodles coat daliy. Good rule to care for doodles .1 inch of coat brush and comb out coat once a week, 2 inches 2 times a week,3 inches of coat 3 times a week ,4 inches of coat 4 times a week ,5 inches of coat 5 time a week, 6 inches of coat 6 days a week, 7 inches and longer of coat. Brush and comb out the throughly 7 days a week. The alternative is not pretty. Groomers dont have a magic wand. We wont rip knots from your fur babies coat cat or dog this process is abusive and very painful and will be torture to them. Our only option is to strip the coat to the skin 16th of a inch is all we can leave. We've dealt with high volume of doodle breeding within the last 3 yrs a increase of 300 %. These breeders of doodles are lying to you. Doodles must start learning the grooming experience as early as 4 months old. Doodle owners you need to comb your doodle puppy as soon as they arrive in there new home. Doodles with Double coat breeds start combing them as soon as you get the fur babies home. These are high maintance breeds. Must be groomed 6 weeks regliously. Huskey breeds. Every 3 months when blowing coat. They dont need to be groomed when they are NOT BLOWING THERE COAT aka MOLTING. Senior pets that are 12-15 yrs dog or cat is equally in humane age of 75-85 years old. It takes seniors a lot of indurance to stand and deal with the grooming process. Keep this in mind add on 2 extra hours for grooming. Older fur babies need to take a break. 16-20 year old fur babies are deaf and blind arthritic joint weak shakey legs. They can not handle clipper cut or scissor cuts anymore . It can send them into a panic attacks which can result in heart attack from the stress. We recommend just a bath nail treatment trimming the hair on bottoms of there feet it stop the chance of the feet sliding out from under them. We recommend santiary maintance for the Senior fur babies. Next puppymills, rescue dog are especially delicate. Keep in mind they have been bred for broker to sale . Most have not had any humane compassionate care , handling, socializing at all they are petrified of people. We recommend getting a spa to take out old coat ,bathing them will make them feel proud. We have experience in puppymill rescue fur babies to transform them from shy timid .to a proud prancing and holding there heads up high right after there spa treatment is completed .Its a amazing transformation. This is why i have been a Professional Groomer since 1975. Enjoy the read. Thank you

Town Hall is now preparing Welcome Kits for new families that are moving into our community.

Our Welcome Kits feature and direct these new families to a small number of local businesses for the goods, services & professionals that they need to find.

Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one Pet Grooming Service, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being the featured Pet Groomer in our local Welcome Kits.

It is worthy to note that, according to Dr. Cathy Goodwin in her book “Making the Big Move”, 32% of new residents and families seek out a new Pet Groomer shortly after their relocation. As such, almost one-third of our Welcome Kit recipients are actively looking for a new Pet Groomer.

I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail.

Please reply to this message with your availability or call me at your earliest convenience.

For a faster response, or if you prefer, feel free to call or text me on my cell which is listed in my signature.

Thanks.

Really crappy service. I have a 3 year old cat that is in need of some shaving and called twice with a promise for someone who would call me back. In the 3rd call I was informed they are no longer taking cats. Would have been nice to know the 1st time I called so I could look elsewhere.
