All breeding dogs have health exams and genetic testing exceeding the Code of Ethics requirements or parent club recommendations.

Where have the past 8 weeks gone?!?!

Our AJ x Gin puppies turn 8 weeks old today and received haircuts before pictures last night. They also got to play with their little cousins for the first time, and were very respectful.

All three of these puppies are show prospects and we couldn't be more proud of Gin for producing so consistently and strongly in her "one and done" litter.

We've been busy at home with both litters of puppies, but Andie snuck away this past weekend to Belvidere, IL to show Sherman. They had a fantastic weekend, sweeping the Best of Breed awards for the four shows he was entered. He'll be back in Belvidere this weekend, but with the professionals (Ryan and Nikki) at the end of his leash!

With Gin's puppies turning 8 weeks and JoJo's turning 6 weeks later this week, we'll be posting pictures of them soon!

Good things come in pairs! Not only is Gin expecting, so is her sister JoJo!

This is a very exciting breeding to frozen semen of Albert. I've loved this pedigree since first seeing Albert's son, Elvis, in the early 2010s. Both are in her pedigree too, so we're really looking forward to seeing these babies!

Blazen is thrilled to announce that we are expecting English Cocker puppies! Gin is pregnant with AJ puppies, confirmed this morning via ultrasound! She is due May 18th.

We haven't updated the page, but things have been happening!

Three English Cockers went to TN (Gin, JoJo, and Yankee), and they collected a bunch of rosettes and ribbons.

Gin: placements every day

JoJo: placements every day, Reserve Winners to a major and Winners for a 5 point major at the Tennessee Valley English Cocker Spaniel Fanciers show. With her other local wins, this brings her to 10 points with a major.

Yankee: 3 Best Veteran awards, 2 Best Veteran in Sweepstakes, 2 Best of Breed Owner/Handler, and an Owner/Handler Group 2.

Holly (Golden Retriever) got to go to the Golden Retriever Club of America National Specialty, and with handler Nikki Ryan, she was 3rd in the 12-15 month class

Wow! The last 7 days have been a whirlwind of activity for us. We drove to Asheville, NC for the English Cocker Regional and National Specialty and got home late last night.

Sherman (Blazen's Down The Rabbit Hole of Nadou) and Gin (Blazen's Borrowed Brass) have been spending time being show dogs for the last few weeks. While Gin has been spending a lot of time being a bridesmaid (reserve winners), Sherman finished his championship today! They were competing in Madison, WI for the last 4 days. It was a LOT of shows. Each day there was an all breed show and an English Cocker specialty. Sherman was reserve winners dog three times, and then won a major yesterday and another one today. Thank you to Ryan Wolfe, Nikki Ryan, and Samantha Abels keeping the kids looking great and making all of their ring times. Show pictures coming soon, as well as candids.
