June's Story: A Year of Waiting

Meet June, a vibrant and adventurous deaf dog who's been stuck in a shelter for nearly a year. Through her confinement, June remains full of energy and enthusiasm, but the endless days are wearing on her and building her stress levels.

This fun-loving girl LOVES being active! She's a natural-born explorer who'd thrive on hikes, playing with toys, and riding shotgun in the car. June's a fast learner, too – she picks up hand signals with ease and is eager to please.

But June's story is also one of heartbreak. As the days turn into months, her hopes of finding a forever home dwindle. She's a photogenic pup who dreams of posing in her own family photos, but for now, she's stuck in a shelter.

June needs a loving family who'll see beyond her disability and give her the love, care, and adventure she craves. Will you be her hero? Let's find June a forever home where she can shine!

Are you looking for another lap-sized companion? Well, we have the friend for you! Buddy is a 9 year old mixed breed small dog about 22 pounds who is looking for a new home. He tragically lost his home due to his owner's health. Buddy is a little skittish at first, but once he warms up, he just wants to be in your lap all the time. He has lived with another dog but has not been around cats. Come down and meet this sweetie and fall in love!
